Merr-Sonn Power 5
Blaster Pistol
This was my first commission for this type of Star Wars blaster pistol. The base gun is a "Box Cannon BI-1881" Mauser-style BB gun. Building around the gun's function I added the necessary components to turn it into a Power 5 Blaster, however the gun can still cock and fire BBs and the magazine can load and release.
The coils on both sides are the threading from PVC couplings. The various circular shapes on the left side are washers. The small scope is made from the front end of a pen and styrene tubing. The front flash suppressor is made from a prism viewer found at the dollar store and the barrel collar is PVC couplings cut with a wrap of wire between them. The power meter and fire mode selector are scrap bits from my junk box.
